ERP Data Readiness, Migration, and Validation
Readiness, migration, and validation for an ERP cutover, so the data that lands in the new system reconciles to the old one.

Where teams get stuck
An ERP cutover exposes every data problem at once: duplicate vendors and customers, inconsistent item and account masters, open transactions that will not reconcile, and historical balances nobody can tie out. Go-live slips because no one can say with evidence whether the data is actually ready.
How We Help
What Clarivon does
We own the data workstream of the ERP program end to end. We assess readiness before the build is locked, map and cleanse master and transactional data against the new structure, run the migration in rehearsed cycles, and validate the result against source-system totals so finance signs off on reconciled numbers rather than assurances.
What You Get
What is included
A readiness assessment that surfaces data problems before they reach cutover
Cleansed, deduplicated master data mapped to the new ERP structure
Rehearsed migration cycles with reconciliation at every pass
Validated balances and record counts your finance team can sign off on
A documented cutover runbook and data lineage your team owns afterward

FAQ
ERP Data Migration questions answered
What exactly is in scope?
Three phases: readiness, migration, and validation. Readiness assesses and remediates the data before the new system's design is locked. Migration covers mapping, cleansing, deduplication, and the rehearsed load cycles. Validation reconciles balances, record counts, and control totals against the source system so finance can sign off with evidence.
Which ERP platforms do you work with?
We are vendor-neutral and work with NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Infor, Workday, Odoo, and others. We do not resell ERP licenses and take no implementation referral fees, so the recommendation is always what is best for your organization.
Do you replace our ERP implementation partner?
No. Your implementation partner configures the ERP; we run the data workstream alongside them. That split matters, because implementation partners are usually scoped and paid to configure software, not to fix years of accumulated data problems in your legacy system.
When should we bring you in?
Before the new system's design is finalized. Data readiness findings often change how the chart of accounts, item master, or customer hierarchy should be structured. Brought in at cutover instead, we are cleaning up under deadline pressure, which is slower and more expensive.
What happens to our historical data?
We work with you to decide what migrates, what is archived into a reportable store, and what is retired. Moving everything is rarely the right answer; it carries old problems into the new system. We make that a deliberate decision with a documented rationale rather than a default.
